AirPulse

Privacy policy

Effective October 24, 2026

AirPulse is an iPhone app made by Mashari Abdullah ("we"), published under the name In Parallel. This policy explains what data AirPulse accesses, how it is used, where it is stored, and the choices you have. It applies to the AirPulse app and to this website.

In short: AirPulse reads your health and fitness data only to show it to you and calculate your scores on your iPhone. AirPulse has no servers, so your data never reaches us or anyone else. We don't sell it, share it, use it for ads, or use it to train AI models.

1. Data AirPulse accesses

From Google Health (with your permission)

When you choose Connect Google account, Google asks you to allow read‑only access to these parts of your Google Health data, which is where your Fitbit device stores what it records:

PermissionWhat AirPulse reads
Activity and fitness (read only)Steps, distance, floors, calories burned, Active Zone Minutes, and exercise sessions (type, start and end time).
Health metrics and measurements (read only)Heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen (SpO2), breathing rate, skin temperature changes, VO2 max (cardio fitness), weight and body fat.
Sleep (read only)Sleep sessions: when you fell asleep and woke up, and time in each sleep stage.

AirPulse only reads. It never writes, changes or deletes data in your Google account.

From Apple Health (with your permission)

If you choose Connect Apple Health, iOS asks which of these you allow AirPulse to read: steps, walking and running distance, flights climbed, active and resting energy, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, breathing rate, sleeping wrist temperature, VO2 max, weight, body fat, height, sleep, workouts, date of birth and sex. AirPulse never writes to Apple Health.

Information you enter

Your age, weight, height, sex, sleep need and app settings (such as reminder times and card order), used to calculate calories, strain and your sleep target. Workouts you add or relabel are also kept.

What AirPulse does not collect

AirPulse has no account system of its own and collects no analytics, advertising identifiers, location, contacts or usage tracking.

2. How AirPulse uses your data

Your data is used only to provide AirPulse's features to you, on your iPhone:

We do not use your data for advertising, to build profiles, for credit or lending decisions, or to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. No human reads your data.

3. Google API Services: Limited Use

AirPulse's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

4. Where your data is stored

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share or disclose your data to anyone. Because the data never leaves your device, we have nothing to share. If you contact us for support, we only see what you choose to send us.

6. Keeping and deleting your data

AirPulse keeps up to 90 days of data on your device and discards anything older automatically.

7. Security

Data in transit uses HTTPS. Data at rest is protected by iOS data protection, and sign‑in tokens are stored in the Keychain and available only on this device. AirPulse asks only for read‑only access.

8. Children

AirPulse is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Not medical advice

AirPulse is not a medical device. Its scores are estimates for general wellness and are not meant to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above. If a change affects how your Google user data is used, we'll ask for your consent in the app first.
